Upcoming senior, opinions appreciated

So, I'm new here and I know for the most part people here are concerned about the UC's, the Ivies, etc. I, however, am not quite the shining star, but I would love to hear anyone's opinion on my chances here.

Colleges I'm looking at: University of Maryland (in state), Pitt, Baylor, Penn State, and anywhere else that you could think of within these standards.

SAT: Critical Reading - 700 Math - 580 Writing - 650 ACT: 28
I plan to take the SAT once more this fall, I know my math needs a good bit of improvement.

Extracurriculars: Less than spectacular, these are what worry me the most. I've played soccer every year and was JV captain. I've played tennis as well, and have been heavily involved in my church, but other than that, nothing but a bunch of little insignificant things.

Finally, grades/school: I've taken 5 AP classes so far, and am taking 4 more this year, I've got a 4.46 weighted GPA, and by my own calculation since the school doesn't do it, a 3.95 unweighted.

The main question here is what are my chances at UMD College Park? That seems my best choice but I'm not sure how I stack up there. Opinions would be fantastic, and even maybe throw in a few schools that are similar to the ones I've mentioned.
Thanks!

-UM College Park: high match (assuming you get your math SAT subscore up to ~700)
-Baylor: low match
-Pitt: mid match
-Penn State: low match

You need some reaches and safeties…but I’m sure you have that under control :)

Good luck!

(FYI, your ECs seem fine, especially for these schools.)

By low match do you mean those would be safer bets for me? Baylor has lower scores and higher acceptance than UMD from what I’ve seen

Exactly. Baylor is a low match because their accepted students have lower test scores and lower GPAs, so it’ll be easier to get into for you.

UMD: Match
UPitt: Low match
Baylor: Safety
Penn State: Low match

I think those are matches except Baylor is a safety :)
