Hey everyone, I'm not sure if some of you remember my mistake on the common app thread. Anyways, i emailed the fileroom address quite a long time ago. Just 30 minutes ago, i finally got a reply saying that the email was printed and WILL BE to my file.

Does this seem odd to anyone besides me? I thought that their decisions are pretty much made up by now. I appreciate them telling me that this will be added, but isn't it too late now?

Thanks!

i dont think its odd. as far as getting a response, i did the same thing but i sent my letter directly to the director and dean of admissions. and boom! i got a response from the director herself mid last week.

as far as what is going on in the admissions office, no one really knows. some speculates, but again, there are just speculations.

I have the same problem, except I’ve had to call the office twice, and my email STILL hasn’t been updated.

It’s good to know I’m not the only one who has had these problems, but if my email isn’t correct in my file (even though it was on the app, according to several people I’ve talked to on the phone), will I not receive an email regarding decisions on the 1st?

I got an e-mail from them as well and I sent them my update over a month ago.

They do get alot of mails and emails. With that said, the last thing we need to do is speculate anything on their actions.

Good luck everyone next week! Whether you get accepted, waitlisted, or denied, just keep your heads up, and just keep reminding yourself that there is a bright future ahead of you.

Here is a link from the folks of vanderbilt admissions. Read it guys if you can… Its pretty awesome

I sent an update to Harvard fileroom several weeks ago, and I haven’t gotten a reply saying my email was printed. Does this mean that they ignored my application update? :S

I don’t think so. A lot of people are in the same boat with you. It may simply be that your E-mail has been printed but they didn’t send an confirmation letter back because they’re just too damn busy. Relax, you did all that you can.

Thank you for the reply! =)

Hmm I think the return message is automated.

I sent another copy of my update to them after receiving no response. Also, I didnt have all of the applicant identification info.

Well, I got another return email from them, same as the previous one.

I got an e-mail like this today. I sent in an update on March 8th.

ughh i didn’t get an email!

Just got an update email today. Facepalm Better late than never I suppose, although this might as well be never…
