Hi everyone,
I recently drafted an email with images and descriptions of what I’ve been doing this year with a club I founded, and I think the information could improve my application. However, when I emailed my counselor she advised me not to send it because colleges do not have time to review extra info at this point and will see it as a nuisance. Do you agree with her or should I send it??

Has your club done anything really noteworthy? Like really really. If the laundry list isn’t too impressive, then your GC is right. Don’t bother.
We ran a huge campaign for Amnesty International, getting over 300 signatures on our petition and raising money as well. A few of our club members are actually hand-delivering the petition, so I think what we’re doing is noteworthy but I’m not sure how colleges will see that.
And the images were of our photo campaign 
TBH hand delivering a petition is not wildly extraordinary. Nor is 300 signatures, though it is neat. I’d pass.
