When do we update our UC apps with our final fall grades and final classes for the spring term?

up (10 char)

For the fall grades, we send in our transcript around the middle of january/February. I don't know the exact dates because the universities' websites have not announced the date yet. Check back on the UC websites in a week or two.

Spring is usually around June or July.

We don't have to send our trascripts... we only put in our grades on a website where we will get access to when we get a letter from the UC later this month.

January 8th

Fall 2007

If you are a transfer applicant for fall 2007, you may update your application beginning January 8. You can revisit this site to update any in-progress or planned coursework after your initial submission.

A QUICK TIPS for everyone who are perspective UC transfers of 2007:

Avoid dropping your courses for any reason in your spring courses or any course in fall after you update your grades to keep away from troubles.

Note: I was a UC transfer of 2006 and now attending UCLA :D

kevin101: "...or any course in fall after you update your grades..."

1) Arent we updating IN fall?

2) im worried because i dropped a class (chemistry) this past fall quarter about two weeks ago. this is in addition to an n/c i received last year spring quarter in calculus. those are the two blips on my transcript. my cum. gpa is 3.85 w/ 71.5 units completed. (im currently a sophomore). My major is psychology.

hope to hear from you kevin101.. or anyone also

"If you are a transfer applicant for fall 2007, you may update your application beginning January 8. You can revisit this site to update any in-progress or planned coursework after your initial submission." In addition, the deadline for most UC campuses are Feb 15, 2007 (UC Davis and Berkeley have exception) and particularly for UC Berkeley, you have to update TWO forms: the regular update in the UC website and UC Berkeley's own application.

As long as your updates reflect the reality of what you are taking or dropping, then you should be fine.

What I was pointing is that: For example, if a student updates his/her application and they admit him/her but later find out that the official transcript does NOT match with the updates, they will then have to RE-evaluate the application and then he/she has to explain this and that to verify this and that (lots of troubles) and sometimes they even reject them.

ahh.. icic thanks kevin

like also, hope im not annoying u too much with this, but like im worried if my updates that "reflect the reality" of my having dropped a class last fall quarter, will get me rejected.

You are welcome!

Yeah, you will encounter endless worries right after you submit the UC application... that is normal and I believe that it is even part of the process. However, you have to wait many more months to see the official acceptance/rejection letters so don't worry too much.
