Not to be the bringer of bad news, but I think you're slightly weak for PSU-Park. PSU decision is 2/3 GPA, 1/3 Other stuff (mostly SAT). You're slightly below par on the GPA (bottom 25%), and your SATs aren't necessarily bad so much as they don't really make up for your GPA.

In short, it's a reach, but doable.

The hardest part at PSU-Park is that they only look at grades through junior year. I'd suggest writing the optional personal statement. If you're doing really well your senior year, point that out. Maybe retake the SAT and see if you can score higher. Scoring 600+ in each of the categories would make you a much more desirable applicant, since that'd put you right with the other students instead of on the low side.

That said, PSU-Park is a great goal for you, and it's within reach, if not incredibly likely. Because of PSU-Park's policies, it's hard to make things better once you get to senior year. Focus on your SATs and your personal statement, and you could be one of the ones who gets in.

Make of that what you want. Your UW GPA isn't too strong but your weighted and class rank would be acceptable for UP. I think you have a pretty good chance of getting in but it could go either way depending on how they view your GPA.

the average range is like 3.50-3.90, but i would recommend going to the summer session because then you will have a way better shot of getting in. if you apply for summer, you will get in, and PSU does care about EC's, idk what the one person was talking about, if you fill out all the activities on the online application, they really like that

Realistically it depends what background you are and what type of school you went to. I know a student that go into PSU main with a 980 on his SAT out of 1600 & his gpa was a 3.5, but he didn't take any honors or ap classes. It really depends on who you network with at PSU & if they can get your app to the head of admissions..
