I submitted my TAU on the 29th last month and I went into the UCSB portal and I noticed that they received it on 2/7 vs 1/29. Is this normal? I hope I don’t lose marks because I submitted it on the 29th as opposed to on the 10th or something…
Didn’t you post a while back asking about updating with winter grades after the deadline? Did you ever go back and do that? If so, it’s going to show when they received your latest update.
@incogneato Yeah but 2/7 is before I submitted the new TAU update. I’m just wondering if it’s normal for the TAU submission date is different from the date they claimed to have received it.
It only means that the 7th was the time that the update was registered at the admissions office. The same thing happened with the applications if you noticed. The submit date is the only one that matters in terms of lateness.
Mine was submitted on the 24th and still was marked as received by some of the UCs until February.
I’m on the same boat. I don’t think it matters as long as the TAU says the date before the deadline.
