<p>This past week I placed in the state DECA competition in my category and am now competing in the national competition coming up.
Also, I'm going BACk to India to continue the volunteer work that I had done over the summer for 5 weeks. </p>

<p>i'd say do it. you're best off emailing your admissions officer; most schools have them listed on the admissions/prospective students page with their regions in case you don't know who yours is.</p>
