<p>I got second place in a Neuroscience Competition yesterday, and am the runner up to compete in the National level this March.</p>
<p>I applied to MIT, Stanford, Caltech, Harvard, Upenn, and Princeton, and I wanted to know if there is any way to inform the colleges of this so that they will consider it in my application. (If there is no formal way, I'm planning on just emailing the admissions ppl about it)</p>
<p>I know MIT has a midyear report where you can talk about this, but I would like them to know sooner because a lot of the time they have made up their minds before this, and I also don't know of any such thing for these other colleges.</p>
<p>Should I just email them?
