Updating Colleges After Deadline

So I want to update my colleges with a recent significant achievement.

However, I know next week I'm probably going to get something else pretty significant.

Should I 1) email my colleges now and tell them I about my first achievement and email them again next week about my second achievement, or 2) should I wait until next week and tell them about both my achievements.

I know they're reviewing apps right now, so I don't really want to wait...
However, they could definitely help my application. (#2 I won last year as well, but it's pretty significant.)

bump… a lot of views but no replies…

Without knowing what level this achievement is I don’t think you’re going to get much help from us. If you are talking about a nationally competitive award that proves you were meant to do science or engineering, that would make you stand out over other strong candidates, so I would write. If you’re talking about a state level or county level something, it may not sway your colleges and you’ll just look desperate. My guess is that your application likely already describe who you are, so one more award isn’t likely going to change the destiny of your application.

The first one was going to white house sci fair for winning a national STEM competition last year. Thought that might add a bit prestige.

Second one is winning the state-level competition this year (which I did last year obviously as well and most likely will this year).

Again, you’re probably right, I’ll just let them know about both afterwards.
They seem important enough to send a quick email about, right?

Sure, it can’t hurt.

Hey wait a minute your not even on my national champion engineering team you cant put that on your resume i stay away from this site for like a month and find out your posting all these lies… Despicable
