My daughter, who is a Questbridge finalist, wasn’t matched. Since she submitted her application, she was selected as a semi-finalist for NSLI-Y. Should she update colleges with this information or is not considered an achievement? I don’t know if this makes a difference, but she referenced applying for the program in one of her essays and is planning on studying Arabic at university.
Also, she is studying Japanese 302, Japanese Art and Literature, through BYU online. This is not through school. She has her final on the 3rd of January and is probably going to get an A in the class. Is this something she should relay to colleges as it isn’t an officially sanctioned high school class? I am thinking that she should, but the cost to have her BYU transcript forwarded to all the schools would be prohibitive.
