<p>I am not an adcom, but I would say: not particularly.</p>
<p>If you express in your application that being a Drum Major was a big influence on you and helped you develop your leadership skills, etc. then yes, they would like that quite a lot. However, they would also like it if you showed your leadership abilities in another way too.</p>
<p>So basically, Drum Major is as good as any other activity but won't give you a special boost.</p>
