Penn has 12 schools, of which 4 have both undergraduate and graduate divisions (and the other 8 are only graduate). All schools are on the same campus.

@collegeboundJon I only received one email, yesterday and I did get a likely

I’m so nervous. Penn has been my dream school for years, and I really would like to get in, but I realize that my chances are extremely slim (hey, they should let me in because that sentence rhymed).

I purposefully made plans tomorrow so that I wouldn’t be home by myself for all of these most likely rejections from Penn and other schools.

There goes to the two email theory! lol :/

@ 45percenter, it says this on the website:

Isn’t that sixteen? I wrote 16 in my essays so I’m definitely screwed if that’s wrong…

Thank god I have a soccer game tomorrow!

I have… drumroll… nothing tomorrow. Just me alone with my chocolate and my feels.

^ You’re not alone.

Well, technically, there are only 12 schools. Specifically, there is only one Wharton School, one Nursing School, one School of Engineering and Applied Science, and one School of Arts and Sciences. But each of those has an undergraduate and a graduate division (and in the case of SAS, the undergrad division is called the College of Arts and Sciences). And in most contexts, Penn refers to itself as having 12 schools.

But I wouldn’t worry about it–I don’t think you’re “screwed” for using the number 16, since there are 16 units if you count the undergrad and graduate divisions separately. :)

When I found out about Penn ED, I was in my school’s cafeteria eating a sandwich, and was casually half naked getting dressed for a school christmas concert.

In other words: Good luck tomorrow!!! I hope to have the fortune of meeting some of you on campus next year! And stay sane if you can (something which is EXTREMELY difficult, trust me I was neurotic all day, so I’m aware), and remember that if Penn doesn’t work out: a) some other lovely school will because b) everything happens for a reason. <3

@45Percenter alright thank you so much for the reassurance  almost had a heart attack.

I have to wait until 9pm here to find out :frowning: Good luck everyone!

^10 PM here. Counting on rejection, but it’s going to be a very long day nonetheless.

I have no idea why I woke up at 4am.

8 hours 15 minutes to go…

It’s like a count down to dooms day. :D

@Maxyend it’s not fun. Take it youre from somewhere in Europe?

Yep.

But I did do A levels like you. (I stalked your post history). My A-levels weren’t as good as yours though. A*ABB, but one of the Bs was 4 UMS off an A (which is 2 marks on any of the units), which has haunted me since.

I guess we’re competing for a place, so you’ll be happy to hear I messed up with the application so I’m 99.99% sure of rejection.

I woke up way too early. This is going to be a looooong day.
