@Shaownism

What do you mean “they did everything for me”? Did you email them and they helped you correct things? I accidentally cut off part of my application and was wondering how you contact them like that.

^ How did you manage to “cut off” part of your application??

And @krishna147 – which school are you applying to??

^ I meant part of my essay (the short answer one for all the universities, but I’m obviously most concerned about Penn) because I left enters between paragraphs and so despite the character count being below the limit, the print preview shows that it just got rid of the last paragraph.

Ahh, I see!! If a lot is cut off, then you should contact Penn admissions. But, if its only like 1 ending sentence - then I’d say leave it!!

To those who applied to SEAS: which engineering program?

so many international applicants! :o

mechanical :)

@kkakaka

I went for deferred choice. I hope that doesn’t negatively impact my application.

i haven’t received it yet!

it shouldnt hurt to defer your choice, they know most people change their major anyways

^Yeah, I think they are understanding.

Do you guys think SEAS admission at Penn is less ‘cutthroat’?

Shaownism - Bangladesh -CAS

Adodie - OR - CAS

kkakaka – Penn admissions is one of the most competitive irrespective of the school you apply to. Granted Wharton might have a lower acceptance rate than SEAS but it really differs by 1-2% and that too because Wharton has slightly more applicants to available seats ratio. Long story short - It is TOUGH!! :)

And Electrical engineering here!! :)
