alexissss - Hahaha, yeah, or like dragons
Woahh. That, my friend, is a hell lotta essays haha. I couldnt even complete the 12 colleges I had. It was just too muchhhh x_x
Done with all your testing yet?

Rishav, applied for
U Penn, U of Chicago, Northwestern, cornell, Princeton, Columbia
Amherst, UIUC, Dartmouth
How abt you
pl chance me I will chance you back

krishna: Really? Youâre posting on the Penn RD thread and still asking âChance me, Iâll chance youâ? Chasing that worthless venture, esp at this late date, is not a very good sign of your analytical skills, to be frank.

@guyinblue
Rawr! breathes fire
Lolololo
Yeah, but I LOVE writing, so itâs k. :3
I needed lots of options bc weak stats. Lawl
Yusss. Iâm done with testing (sending ACT/some SAT IIs scores soon), but I was NOT happy with my ACT score. I may retake it if I can afford to! Sending the first score costs tooooo much. xD I think CC makes me paranoid, though. I called my top choice and FIVE adcoms told me the range of scores for those accepted was 28 to 36. CC makes it seem like if youâre not at 34+, youâre a loser. T_T

@Alexissss - LOLOLOLOL. xD
Thats good, I couldnt complete my list of colleges, because I absolutely, totally, hate writing >.<
I just saw your chance thread, youve got a pretty convincing story
Yeah, my CSS + SAT comes to around $250+ Thats a lot to me xD

Oh yes, I swear. CC makes me feel like my life has been worthless haha. Before this I used to think that I am like one of the best kids out there, but CC brought me back to reality :p

250+?! I die. lol I suppose itâs all worth it if when get in, right? :D

There was a girl from my class who got into H and sheâs waaayyy better than me. Sheâs a true CCâer. sigh At least we know of the competition! I wonât feel so bad if Iâm rejected from schools and I wonât take it personally. ^â^

Nope. Not yet! Itâs complicated getting a job. I mean, first off I have to search secretly because my mom is against it. She threatens to put me out if I try. She wants to sell books door to door instead (religious health ones bc she only wants to do âGodâs workâ) even though we have no money, car, or warm clothes. The bustop is nearly two miles up the road so getting to any job would be hard, yes, but Iâm willing to do that rather than sell books, you know? A jobâs more stable. I keep telling her to have a backup plan because this community is kinda poor and may not be able to afford books, but she wonât listen. -_-||

@guyinblue - âOh yes, I swear. CC makes me feel like my life has been worthless haha. Before this I used to think that I am like one of the best kids out there, but CC brought me back to realityâ

Truer words have not been spoken!! :)

@Krishna - All the best!! As T26E4 says, now is the time to forget about chances & enjoy the moment!!
I applied to 5 ivies(except Harvard,Yale,Brown), UIUC,Northwestern & Drexel!! :)

I applied to like 25 colleges and spent $800+ cause of ACT scores, college transcript, high school transcript⊠that doesnât even include application fees :p

@alexissss - Yeah well, it will be if i get into a good uni.

Whoa. It isnt common for people in my country to attend such universities. The only friend i know, went to Cornell, class of '16.

Oh. Sorry to hear that. You should try doing something that you really like. Makes the job fun. Agreed that getting a job can be hard if youre in a location such as yours, but dont give up
I loved music so DJing at the club was a fun job for me. But yes, when I see spoilt rich brats drink alcohol and flirt with girls, i do burn and feel angry, they have the luxuries of life while i get nothing . Oh and the stench of cigarettes >.< guess im digressing so yeah nothingâs easy and just play up to your strength.

Rishav17 - haha, ikr?
Reading your name, youre an indian aye? How has the application process been for you so far?
I got 0 help from my counsellor/school official and it was so hard. Had to tell them every friggin thing.
Wbu? Same situation or experienced faculty? ;)
