^^ I remember that scene rajtrwoa it was great

@s13nior They released it a few days earlier two years ago, if I’m not wrong. Last year was right on schedule though.

And this fin aid email thing has my entire family having panic attacks. Like I wasn’t having one already.

I can’t tell my family! They already don’t think I’m getting in, no need to justify their doubt :(

does anyone watch Once upon a time on here? LOVE the show. i started watching re-runs recently as a stress reliever …

Looks like it does matter whether or not you get the email.

I got the mail but im gonna wait till the 16th to rejoice if it actually means something. But id be lying if I said this didn’t make me feel a bit better about my chances. Thanks for the link blacklist

@unluckygirl
YES! ONCE UPON A TIME OMG PETER PAN AND HENRY OMG OMG haha huge stress reliever… or contributor…

Wait so if that financial aid email thing is true, then how about for kids that ARE NOT APPLYING FOR FINANCIAL AID?

Like today, I got an email from Penn reminding me about the day we can check if we got in or not.

IS THAT THE SAME THING AS THE FINANCIAL AID EMAIL FOR THE KIDS THAT ARENT APPLYING FOR FA ? Or did everyone applying to Penn get it? , both FA and non-FA

Didn’t apply for financial aid so I guess this doesn’t apply for me

Just spent like 20 minutes reading through the 2017 thread where they were talking about an email, and looking at everyone’s profiles to see if they got in or not… Then I realized it wasn’t the financial aid email, but the decision notification reminder that they were talking about.

I should go do my homework…

and I am a NON FA candidate. Does getting that reminder email mean i’ve possibly been already accepted just like the financial aid documents missing reminder?

This might be kind of an obvious question, but if I didn’t apply for aid, I’m assuming that I wouldn’t be contacted with a request for any extra financial information? Common sense tells me that they’d have no reason to ask about my financial situation if I never submitted a FAFSA/CSS in the first place–but can any other non-fin-aid candidates chime in?

@actsat2400 if you didn’t apply for it they aren’t going to want it, so don’t stress

I know what you mean. Every time I get bummed out about this, they give me a little talk about if I only tried harder.

I had to this time because I wanted to make sure neither of my parents got the email or something.

aw my FA docs were all sent so I guess I wouldn’t get an email anyway… back to waiting until monday

Hah, maybe next years applicants should omit something from their financial aid apps so they can find out a week earlier. It sounds kind of stupid when you put it like that doesn’t it? Regardless, it looks like this also doesn’t apply to those who were told their financial aid application was received back in November.

Wait so are we saying that there’s a correlation between getting an email confirming your financial aid info was received? Or between getting an email about missing docs? Or just for getting a financial email in general?

Because I did get the confirmation that they got all my financial stuff, but it was in early November. I submitted my app Oct 25 and mailed in financial docs (taxes and penn aid supplement) and did CSS online. But IF this is a good sign, would they even have made decisions that quickly?

My fin aid docs were all sent in too but they emailed me telling me that they had received all of them. I don’t know if that counts since I received it beginning of December and it just told me they had all my docs and not that something was specifically missing. And I turned in all my stuff before November 7 except for my tax returns which I turned in late November

@bond0072 i just told my mom about the loophole and she was like

so youre mad that i had all my stuff done???

ok just go to sleep mom

anyone help the NON FINANCIAL AID kids?

What if the NON FA kids got a reminder email to check their decisions? TODAY I RECEIVED ANOTHER EMAIL

Is that the same thing as getting a reminder for having a missing document in applying for FA?
