UPenn Class of 2018 ED Applicants

I applied EA to Georgia tech. All their engineering disciplines are in the top 10 in the nation and it’s a great school. Other than that I applied to UC berkeley, and my in state back up so far. If I don’t get Penn I’m looking at Dartmouth, Duke, Johns Hopkins, and Brown.

@mumford What? But the checklist says everyone has to submit the profile

@Mumford I’m from India but I don’t live there

@Karishmasheth to be honest i applied for the accelerated program because i really want it… With 2 dentists in my family, one of which being my mom, i have seen exactly what this profession is all about and i am determined that this is what i want to do for the rest of my life. So, i took my chances and applied for the 7-year biodental program without a second thought. I really want to talk about this with someone even now, 6 days before the big day. Would you mind talking over this with me? In case you are positive… Facebook: Miltos Prastitis :)))

Hey fellow UPENN applicants. I have been following these posts for a while now and while I hate the wait just as much as the next person, all of these messages make me feel amazing because there are other people around the world feeling my same pressure.

Sadly, applying to UPENN is a competition. Then again… the competition is what makes this more exciting. In any case, I wish everyone the best of luck!! And I really hope those who really deserve it and poured their hearts out on their applications get what they deserve!

And if you don’t 5 days from now, remember that it doesn’t stop your journey. Rejection is one of the best motivators for your other applications.

Just like most of you, I feel that I am going to be rejected and its so scary I: …

I feel the days are going WAYYYY slower now that I am waiting…

Who else here is from NY?

Only 4 days 23 hours left (thanks for the clock Harrovian)

i wish all of us got in and they would take all ED kids since we all want to go to the school

I don’t think it would be possible to have 5,133 kids in a freshman class at Penn…

Anybody received an email from Sharla today about financial aid? My son received the confirmation email 3:56 pm today. Is it a good sign or just regular email? Very upset

Thanks a lot!

I got an email from Sharla on Nov 14…

What did it say?

thanks for your reply. Did you receive the email right after you submitted your material?Or did you have to wait a couple of days?

thanks

Got an email from Sharla nov 4

If you look a few pages of posts back, you’ll see a discussion on it

I think the conclusion was that it doesn’t mean much as it seems to correlate with when forms get there and are processed.

Getting an e-mail about missing documents might mean something though.

If my parents didn’t send in this years tax forms but sent in last years does that count as missing documents?

I got an email from her yesterday, but this is the second confirmation email I got, the first one being sent on November 4th???

just joining discussion now!
@Babolat1 can you copy/paste what was said in the email?

Did anybody else get a second confirmation email? I didn’t, and now I’m worried about that!
