Is it a stupid idea to put fisher hassenfeld, ware, and riepe as my top 3 choices? I really liked the quad when I visited and I also liked that hassenfeld and ware both have fitness rooms.

Another question: One of my bestfriends is going to wharton and I saw that penn allows roommate requests as long as both people request it, so I was basically wondering, do you think it is a good idea to room with a friend? We're both internationals, so it would be nice to room with someone we know and we're really close friends, but I'm also worried that a) it might put too much of a strain on our friendship b) I would end up just hangin out with him and sort of closing myself off from meeting new people...what do you guys think?

Should I bother having a Quad House as any choice after my first? If they go through all the 1st choices first, aren't all the quad houses full because most freshmen have one as their top choice?

PennSpace -- Housing Discussion Forum
This is for students accepted into the Class of 2011. I already posted on the 2011 forum, but I saw some questions about Housing on the main forum.

PennSpace is a new site that will help incoming freshmen learn more about the College Houses by creating online access to current residents, House Deans, faculty and staff in the weeks leading up to the housing application deadline.

It will run through the week of April 16, 2007.

Now can someone tell me if there is any point having a Quad house after your first choice? Do they fill up with everyone's first choices or can I still get in one of them it it is my second or third choice?

Should I go by Coveney's word that Gregory is full of strange people and that Hill is a lot of fun?
Also, should I go by legendofmax's word that Stouffer has a great community feel?
I'm confused and don't know where to live :(

sristi, can't you tell where I'm from by my name?
