I'm planning on applying early decision to UPenn, my top choice.
Planned major: Biology (pre med path)
I have an extremely good sat score, but only decent grades and average extracurriculars.
What are my chances?

SAT: 2350 (Math: 790, CR: 780, W:780)
SAT 2s: Physics: 760, Math 2: (taking it in October hoping for a mid 700s score) Math 1: 720, Biology: 710 (freshman year, reg. bio, no honors biology offered)
GPA: 94.59% (convert this to an approximate unweighted GPA?- I know it doesn't really work like that)
Classes
APs: Biology, Physics B, US History, Chemistry (possibly), Macro, BC Calculus
My school only has two AP options for juniors and I had no room for more APs senior year. However, I always took the hardest courses possible (all honors classes available) every year. How do I prove this? Maybe send in a course path thing from the school?
Extracurriculars:
-Math team
-Writer/editor for the school newspaper arts and leisure section
-Chat Club: Homework help for elementary school children
-Peer leader (really selective program: you go in to middle school classes to teach lessons on drugs, bullying, etc. throughout the year)
-Science research: 3 year project, possibly getting my name on a professional journal article
-Volunteered at Westchester Children's Museum
-Volunteered at local animal shelter
-Women's Geoscience Award
-2nd place at JSHS (science comp.)
-Took a summer neuroscience related course for two weeks at JHU
-Participated in a pre med summer program at UPenn

College Essay: Mine is going to be average, nothing impressing. I can't even force myself to write it but I know it's not going to be bad or really great either.

Recommendations: I think most will be pretty good (Physics teacher, science research teacher who has known me for four years, and counselor)
