Anyone here do peep?
@sajeunesse I’m applying to the nursing school as well! Well, first to the nursing and Healthcare Management program, and 2nd choice the nursing school @sunrae and I are already friends on facebook and instagram ^-^ You should pm us your social media info and we can all cry together on the decision day(either tears of joy or utter sadness)
HAHAH great idea @tigerflower i’ll PM you
I know the feeling @sajeunesse Nobody’s gotten accepted into Penn from my school too!
The last time someone applied was 2011 and they were a 4.25 gpa with a 2350, not a great feeling
Good plan @sajeunesse … there’s around 8 people applying ED from my school too. And I’m also a fan of sad girl artists for some reason
Guys I think one thing good about Penn is that it places a lot of importance on Ecs, essays and recommendations rather other than GPAs/ Testing Scores. So we never know what the admission committee might find in our application and not in others!
Good thing to remember for sure @Palak786 , my interviewer mentioned that. I don’t have the best GPA (because of my math grades, otherwise I would have above a 4.0), but I have a crazy amount of ECs and sports
Nobody has ever gotten in from my school either! The trend is kind of disheartening, but looking on the bright side, it’s also an opportunity to break that streak
hoping for the best, but also preparing for the worst!
I was probably unclear. What I meant was in the portal that shows which test scores were received, the status of the application materials (e.g. received) , portfolio, etc, did you find the ED Agreement form in the list? On the side for my portal it says 2017 Early Decision Plan like your guys’s
Thx in advance
@sunrae I’m dying. You want to join the badminton club??? I have never found someone else with the same desire omg. I even talked about joining the badminton club in my interview (probably more than I should have lol).
And guys, if you forgot about the Penn Financial Aid Supplement, would that affect your admission chances? I did submit the CSS and FAFSA
@dncn888 it probably won’t affect your chance of admission, but you may not get financial aid or it will come later
but not completely sure on that
Thanks
@financemajor37 No way. Hahaha I love badminton my school has a badminton team and I’m a captain! I definitely want to continue in college. I talked about it in my Why Penn essay and my interview too!
If you’re an international student @dncn888 it can affect the chances a LOT. Penn will prefer a student who doesn’t need aid over the one who needs FA. For american students, it probably won’t matter much.
Im not an international student, so my chances are still the same?
How much does wharton value leadership?
@dncn888 Yes your chances will still be the same! Which school are you applying to?
@Klayyy Wharton values leadership very much.
