@mcollegej Okkkkaayyyy!! That’s what I LOVE to hear!
@justtrynagetby exactly what financial aid information do you have listed there? All that is listed in my portal in terms of financial aid is that I’m applying for financial aid, a link to the financial aid checklist, and a link to the Penn financial aid supplement.
@pennplz I’m not cuz I don’t want people asking me questions about it and making me more nervous.
Just ordered a new penn shirt to be delivered tomorrow…wearing it on thursday if I get accepted and probably using it to wipe my tears if I get rejected lol
not too sure how to feel about tomorrow
hahah i was too scared to buy any penn gear
i didn’t buy any penn stuff either, but i have some ‘i love penn’ pins that my dad had lying around haha
Good luck everyone!
hey guys! i’m not trying to be rude, but for everyone on here telling us that we’re class of 2022 and that we’ll be NEEDING certain resources… can you guys maybe hold off on that? it provides a lot of false hope and I know that I, and most others, are trying to avoid getting their hopes up, and you aren’t really making it easier…
@DelilahRhodes Agreed
Omg Harvard deferred 4,882 applicants…73.6%
Out of curiosity, where is everyone else applying in the scenario that Penn doesn’t work out?
Where did you get that figure from? @Kh521k
@kangaroosrule I’m mainly banking on my state flagship (UF) as my low match/high safety, maybe try for their honors program.

Pact with myself. CC is nice but it makes me way too anxious so I’m not gonna look at it until 15 min before decisions are released. Good Luck everyone!!! May the next 21 hours fly by
Oh my goodness about the high deferral at Harvard. I had read that Yale deferred 80%, rejected 3% and accepted 17% last year. My Mom specifically asked the admissions counselor at Penn’s exploring college options presentation what percent of applicants are deferred and he said they don’t give out the information, but it’s not very many deferrals. (Stanford said something like 8%.)

anyone else just thinking about opening their decisions and seeing a welcome video or not
Wow… what do you think causes those schools to defer so many people? Are they really just wanting more information from all of them? Why not just give a definitive answer?
@onw2018 There are so many competitive applicants that schools have a hard time giving a definitive answer. I think they want time and the opportunity to see the RD applicants more than additional information.
