Why do you think the other schools defer so many kids? Theres literally no use in applying ED that way…
Also is it true that to be accepted to Wharton…you’d have to start your own business or smtn like that?
@Chipotlegurl28 definitely not true. Tons of Wharton admits have not started a business or non-profit etc
Wait so for wharton would a non profit I started make up for a lack of FBLA/DECA
I started an NGO…will they recognize that?
And theres no DECA in my country…so they’ll know that right?
Also FYI guys I called Penn last night to ask about stuff on the portal missing…they said because decisions are being released soon theres an ivy blackout or something so all the portals are getting emptied. No big deal
@Chipotlegurl28 You don’t have to start a company or something like that to get into Wharton unless you’re really interested in entrepreneurship, management, etc. For instance, for finance applicants, they could get experience in the industry (e.g. internships) instead.
Anyone applying from South Korea?
@Vetelgeused I am… haha do you go to an international school?
Folks take deep breath and let it go, your less than 13 hours away and looking for clues in digital code will only drive you further up a tree, You all deserve this but 8 out of 10 are not going to get good news Be proud that you are at this point and make your mark wherever you wind up!.
There’s no way I’ll be able to concentrate in any of my classes today lol
12 hours!!!
@ICA3rep00 41,760 seconds to go…
Great, i have a test, two quizzes, and a timed write today!! hopefully, i can actually focus…
@Chipotlegurl28 Harvard has been known to use ED to accept legacy and athletes for the most part- most people are better off on RD
Countdown Time! Good Luck to all of you that applied ED to Penn!
After tonight it’s gonna be weird not checking CC every minute of every day…hopefully we all get in and just move to the c/o 2022 Facebook group!!
Oh, I did not know that. Do you know if Penn does something like that as well? @plxdeferme
@Chipotlegurl28 Penn is a little different. They still look for those people early decision, but they also fill half their class ED, and also their acceptance rate is double that of Harvard, so they accept more students in general. (at least this is what my tutor told me)
