my life right now is literally the meme of the dog sitting in the flames drinking coffee
@Quebec oml who are u. can we please be friends if we both get into penn
Friends, we’re going to love wherever we go. Any one of us can change the world from anywhere we go. Good luck to all of us, but remember that sometimes you don’t get what you want but instead what you need - a chance to find a school that truely fits you, somewhere that will feel like home and push you to grow as much as possible. That being said AHAHHHHHHAHAHAJDKDKDLEKEMDKMF, love you all and good luck !!
@plxdeferme No it’s definitely a bad thing, means that the acceptance rate has lowered
ONEEEEEEEEEEEE hour to go!!! Good luck to yall! Just want to say that yall are great!
@rala2018 ahaha literally same
59 minutes guys!!
agh i’m gonna throw up with all this anxiety
They have never posted an article like this half hour before the results. BEST OF LUCK EVERYONE!!!
@blossom4penn same I’ve felt like I’m going to throw up all day
@blossom4penn same!
I mean Penn is the outlier in highly selective early admissions. They had a 22% rate, which is a lot higher than the 15% fielded by the likes of Harvard or Yale. That being said, good luck everyone!!!
@ShadowSaber Yes, but two things: One, Penn practices ED, not REA. Two, HYP’s regular acceptance rate is much lower than Penn’s, as well.
Thanks to the existence of this thread!!! You guys are really nice and helpful, which makes me want to go to Penn even more lol. But I believe there are TONS OF THINGS to explore in ANY school u go to. So whatev the result is, move on! That being said, best of luck!
Hey guys, I’ve been silently stalking this forum for the past two months and I just want to let everyone know that God or whoever is the person deciding our fate has a plan for all of us. The fact that you applied to Penn indicates you are obviously intelligent and an amazing individual/student and no college decision can take that for you. All of our futures are extremely bright and I have no doubt, regardless of what happens tonight, that we are all going to be happy wherever we end up by next year. If you don’t get in that means it wasn’t meant to be and our lives have something greater in store for us. Hopefully we are accepted and can all meet each other. But until (hopefully) that happens, I say good luck to everyone and it has been a pleasure to hear from all of you these past super stressful months. -Tyler
@burrito12 ah, you’re right. I.e. apparently Brown has a 21 or 22 percent acceptance rate to their ED as well.

This article tho? well, at least it further prepares me to expect rejection. It sort of takes the sting out a bit. “They took less numerically than ever this time, so it’s not REALLY my bad.”
I skipped school today for this lol… I can’t pay attention at all lol
