blah.. a lot of asian parents are like that.
this is pathetic. but one of my teachers docked points b/c i fell asleep in his class.
i mean what do you expect it's bloody 7 in the morning.

Umm. No. THat's actually better than me. I have this neo-con history teacher who hates me because I am a dem. So he docs off on the participation points because, apparently, I understand the text and don't ask questions. THe participation points are worth 10% of our grade...I got a D in participation. And he is making the participation points for this quarter the semester final...<<<that's ridiculous.

i understand that teachers want to be at least respected.
but then why did they choose to teach a bunch of teenagers.

LOL. It's one of the great mysteries of the universe...

wow catch are you on the east coast...everyone in my school is ultra liberal...including my teachers...you can't survive here if you have any conservative or moderate stance

No. I am in the Southwest...that's why my Neo-con Nazi History teacher hates me for being a liberal democrat...hehe.

i believe she's part of jesusland (basically all of america exlcuding the northeast and west coasts)
AZ, if i'm correct.
we should totally have CCers trivia
to see what we really know about each other

LOL. BooBooCat. You cook everyweek and try out new recipes. ANd yes, I am from AZ.

oo arizona...well you guys got john mccain...he's not neo-conservative from what i know

He is neo-conservative..but compared to the rest of the republican party, ppl say he is a moderate (kinda scary). He's cool, it's Jon Kyle whom I dislike...ERrrrr!

well hes probably next in line to be President...haha Republican party is going to dominate now...

it sucks that everything is so polarized now...either your far right or far left

blah rebulican domination for a while.
unles we can pull another Bill Clinton

yeh...i know im missing that sex in the white house

I'm actually ok moderate...but I think the media just magnifies the issues which swings ppl to left or right to an extreme degree so that ppl tend to associate a supporter of say, gay rights, to a far-left liberal because the idea itself has been packaged so thoroughly that ppl only associate FAR LEFT LIBERALISM with it. So, any middle ground is eliminated.

are there a fair amount of republicans in Penn...i dont want to go to another place where its all bush-bashing...

i heard wharton's pretty conservative actually cause of the big business factor

Well, if the country continues to go down this path, there will defintely be a backlash sometime in the next decade against the republican party. Maybe not the next election cycle, but it's inevitable.

Naw, Wharton's what they call: Socially LIberal and economically conservative Plus, I don't see how the true conservatives can say they support Bush's fiscal policies.

not really...its only liberals who hate where the country's going...and theyre outnumbered...

AP gov class up in here...represent!

I really don't want to categorize ppl with hating or loving this country because they are questioning the direction which it is going. I thought that was the whole point of American democracy and pluralism. When questioning the war means that you are patronizing the troops, there's something wrong with the system. And America does not have a large number of Rep. or Dem...because most ppl do not commit themselves to either party. The assumption that because Bush won the election, the country has a conservative mandate is ridiculous. Most ppl actually agree with the democratic agenda but identify with the republican candidates. I mean, I respect the conservatives, but, I just denounce those ppl who claim a liberals are the ones who hate the country...it's that kind of cynicalism that's polarizing the country. When Democrats criticize the gov., it's the governmental policies we are criticizing, not the republican party. Get that straight, and then talk to me about politics.

damn catch...rewind that...thats not what i meant at all...trust me...if u knew me, youd know that im all for freedom and criticizing the gov't...i was only responding to what you said...you said that there's going to be a backlash if the country continues to go this way...which i implied (maybe incorrectly?) that people do not like the way we are going now...and i think that that is not true...

i dont want you to hate me before we even met lol :)
