plus you got some bias in your statement too if you dont mind me saying...sayin ppl agree wit democrats but identify with republicans means that conservatives are stupid right? Around here...thats the hallmark statement of any liberal...

that's why i don't get involve with politics, someone's definately going to get offended.

so if any one asks my opinions on politics, "me no speakie da engrish"

can we move on catch-22 and bigjake?

uuhh rapidly chaning topics..
(awkward moment)

who has watched all three lord of the rings movies?

lol toast to that boo...

im a big fan of those movies...rotk extended edition comes out with early decisions i think

catch you like lord of the rings?

or r u a harry potter person lol

yea. I am not going to get on with it, but just to clarify, BigJake, I think you took my statement out of context. I am just referring to all the research and stuff done on the subject. When asked about policies, ppl do tend to agree with the democrats more. I don't see how I just called republicans stupid. You guys got a good candidate. I give. It can go in circles. I don't feel like ranting about politics...so let's stop here before you misinterpret any more of what I say.

I don't like LOR that much Booboo. Don't know why. I tried reading the first book and I fell asleep...meh. My friends dragged me to watch the second movie...it was ok.

I do like Harry Potter. A lot of ppl who like LOR likes Harry Potter also...is that suppose to be something surprising? O.o??

the books i admit weren't all the intersting. with cryptic-sounding names and a long-winding plot that takes 1000+ pages to finish.
but the movies were much more exciting for me. partly b/c of the glorious soundtrack.

replying to jake: yes. dec. 14
i will buy on dec. 15 if i get a fat envelope

lol. Coolios. I am buying myself an IPOD...actually, my parents are buying me the IPOd, and a Laptop for Christmas if I get in. crosses fingers

lol ooo catch r u seriously mad at me? come on its politics...

lets hope we both get in to penn so we can finish this convo...

Naw. I think I mis-read your statement..hehe. I don't like to let my politics make friends for me. Not that kind of person. I have a lot of conservative friends and liberal friends, we just stay away from politics. :)

nice...my parents r buying me....

yeah nvm...ill just get a "nice jake...lets go rake the leaves"

hahah. catch, i recommend the minis if you prioritize aethestics.
if not, the 40 gig should suffice for you. maybe even the U2 edition

labtop. i like vaio designs, but not really a sony supporter myself.

I am shooting for the 40GB!! I wanna order it straight from the site and have laser engraving thingy...where, if I get in, Penn will go on there!!!!!!!!

I am thinking about a Sony or a Dell when it comes to laptops.

What do you guys think of the Dell DJ? It's 20GB and costs less than IPODs...

hahah catch. there is a swarvoski crystal ipod minis. i would've definately got that if i had the money. instead i got the green mini from ********s.com

hahah they blcoked free-ipods [minus -]

oo get the zen micro! it's cute and slick and pretty

holy moly lol
i don't really like those
shiny, yes, but i like the plain

oh boy! CC politics! hooray for AP Government.

We actually just watched a video in which John McCain played a big part...he was sponsoring this tobacco bill a while back that would tax smokers, thereby trying to curb teenage smoking. And the tobacco companies ran this awful campaign twisting the entire bill to make it look like a taxation of the poor! it was so ridiculous. and he really seems intelligent, unlike certain other western republicans...ahem...

and also, someone said this earlier, we had to read an article in gov about how during the Reagan years everyone expects America to be sooo conservative...when in actuality the majority of them agreed with the Democratic platform, and only voted for Reagan because they thought they'd do better economically with him as steward of the economy.

but really, i love my gov teacher. she's so right-wing (not really a bushie though) and yet refuses to reveal which party she's in or which candidates she prefers. she's soo intent on being a fair grader and would never take points off from you for being a democrat.

i think TECHNICALLY my views classify me as a libertarian...b/c i'm conservative economically and more liberal socially...so i just say i'm a moderate lol.

and also Catchy...i looooove Harry Potter books, I've read them each a disgusting amount of times (not kidding. over forty for some of them. i finished the 5th book in 6 hours. yes. 876 pages lol). and yet I couldn't STAND the LOTR books! they were written in this horrible old English where one paragraph was eight pages long...i couldn't take them! and yet I loved the movies (the first 2 harry potter movies SUCKED, 3rd was pretty great though). But other than LOTR I inhale books. They're like the one exception...so glad i'm not alone on that lol

blurinka, i recommend Peter and the Starcatchers ("prequel" to Peter Pan)
and Eragon

I have never read a LOTR books, never seen a LOTR movie
