Yeah I applied to St. Joe's. It's the worst school that I could go to and still be happy/ satisfied. I'd like to hear from them soon though... it would be some peace of mind.

that's would be too close to where i live, and I mean Too close

LaSalle U is really close to me. I wouldn't want to go there. I actually kinda go there now. It's not so hot of a school.

Christ.... I have 50 posts today. A good way to spend thanksgiving, isnt it?

post pump ~~~

Chocoman, at this rate, I urge you to up your expectations to 600+ posts by decision time...

i feel so behind in the post race...crap, i gotta stop reading and start talking!
all these kids from my school are wearing sweatshirts from the colleges they applied to even though they havent been accepted yet - am i the only one who thinks thats kinda ballsy? maybe its good to have confidence, but even so...

No..I refuse to wear anything with Penn on it...it just deepens my attachments to the school which might ultimately reject me. It's actually a pretty bad idea, a lot of counselors warn against it.

BUT, if by some miracle I am accepted, then I will rush over to any online shop that sells Penn merchandise and max out my piggy bank on Penn stuff...and then, for the rest of this year, and the next, and the next..etc., I'll wear my Penn shirts, jackets, blah blah blah...:)

that's one of my pet peeves...when ppl wear shirts b4 they're even accepted. to me, it comes off as snotty. but once u are in, then it's absolutely fine to have ur wardrobe revolve around ur school

I would never wear something with Penn on yet. I'm not worthy! I'm not worthy! Wearing that stuff is snotty... and a waste of money in the longrun.

i completely agree with the last two posts - i would never wear merchandise without getting accepted. but if i do get in, well, im going on a spending spree

ahh! two weeks guys!!!!

runs around in circles

I would only wear it to school if everyone in my school who applied ED got in ED. That would just be too mean.

yup two more weeks..... try not to stress too much

I know what you mean ASO. If I get in and someone else doesn't I'm gonna have to be so restrained. And the other ED kids are in all my classes!

Off-topic: The valedictorian at my school wants to go to MIT. He's been beating me in everything hes ever done in school since we first met in 7th grade. I beat him once in 8th grade in something - and I still rub it in. Anyway hes your all around genius type. And if you haven't noticed I'm pretty arrogant - I've always been and I really can't admit someones better than me at something. And my excuse for telling the valedictorian I'm smarter is that Penn is 4 and MIT is 5. lol.

yup i agree , especially since there are like 20 ppl apply to Upenn ED at my HS.

Man though if all 3 of us got in we're gonna party so hard that weekend.

hey chocoman, you go to Masterman right? To do know a kid named Nhut?

No I don't go to masterman. I go to Roman Catholic High. The "Flagship" of the Archdiocese.

what does that mean? I have NO idea.
