I was recently admitted to both the Huntsman International Studies and Business Program at Wharton, UPENN, and into Princeton.
Since these two were my top 2 choices, I have no idea which I should go to.
I really like Princeton’s suburban kind of campus, but UPenn’s facilities really appeal to me. I’m kind of leaning toward penn right now because of the really unique program I’ve got into, but I still don’t know.
I really don’t care about the food and dorms, but diversity is a big part of choosing a college for me. As for social life, Im a work hard play hard person
I also didn’t need financial aid at both these schools, so cost of attendance is no problem for me.
Choose one of them, and commit in your mind. Spend a day with that firmly in your thoughts. How do you feel about it? Do you suddenly hopelessly feel like you made a mistake? Then try again with the other one. How do you feel knowing that it is your choice?
I admit I am biased towards Penn, as you mention the facilties are superior for your course of study. Princeton is of course A superb degree but the speciality at Huntsman sounds unique. Having just walked the campus, I love it: it’s definitely enclosed but spacious, and University City is a vibrant and fun setting that surrounds the campus. The city is there if you want it but some people never leave campus. My student was concerned as well about diversity and choose Penn over Georgetown for that reason. Good luck: both good choices.
