i got some scholarship money at Upenn (half tuition) and received nothing in scholarship from emory. i plan to major in business but i like the warm weather. i decided to go with emory. was that a good choice?

...You're paying twice as much to go to go to Goizueta as you would have paid to go to Wharton (which everyone considers the #1 undergraduate business school)... You might be the only person to ever go with full tuition Goizueta over half tuition at Wharton just to have warmer weather. I hope it works out.

something is fishy about this......anyone want to chime in? I'm not trying to start trouble, but just looking at the OP's list of posts, I smell fish......

if you plan to stay in the south emory has a much better name

yea i plan to stay in the south

go to emory.did u transfer to emory or go as a freshman?

i would have picked penn, but thats just me.

i would have picked upenn also, but then weather plays an important factor also

I chose Emory over Penn, and a couple of other schools, and never regretted it. My finaid situation was different though, and I wasn't interested in business, so it's not exactly the same. Either way, I'm sure you'll do fine.

I would definitely go to Penn if I were you...

i chose emory over penn because you get a more liberal arts education and if you have AP credits, its easier to double major so you can major in something that will help for business. Like, if you want to do international business, you can major in international studies as well. Plus, you have more electives to have more concentrations in different areas for business like finance, accounting, marketing, operations management, etc. EMORY GOIZUETA ALLTHE WAY!!!!!
