UPenn or University of Florida?

As of now, my top two choices are UPenn of Uni of Florida. I barely got any aid for UPenn, and I have in-state for Florida. This decision stresses me out tremendously, since I feel like if I choose Florida i might regret the opportunity to study in UPenn, and if I choose UPenn I might regret the cost of tuition. I applied for a biology major however I am undecided as of now and will change my major when the new year starts in September. Does anyone have any advice? As in, is UPenn worth it for my future? Thank you.

If your family can afford it, Penn is worth it. It is a wonderful place and can open many doors for you.

If it will be difficult for your parents, try to appeal your financial aid decision to Penn. Provide more information that you think might help. If your parents have unusual expenses, a sibling with lots of medical expenses, etc.
Like the above poster said, if it won’t be incredibly difficult for your family to pay for, Penn will give you so much more.

OP, what school were you admitted to, and what major are you contemplating?

Depends if your family can afford it. If so then Penn is definitely worth it.

If you can afford it, Penn is worth it. The Ivy League provides opportunities you can’t get anywhere else.

Addition*** medical school has not been completely ruled out. However, I think if I went to UPenn then decided on medical school, I would transfer to Florida to save costs (would that be a better option?)

Penn is only worth it if you can afford it. However, if you will be nursing tens-of-thousands in debt then definitely think twice, especially if grad school is a likely probability. The good name of Penn is only good if it doesn’t come with heavy baggage and financial burden for years after graduation. Good luck on your decision!
