UPenn panicking!!!! Help!!!!

I applied to UPenn 2 days ago. I just got my Penn portal account info to check what materials I have in. It says my application, supplements and teacher rece are in. But yhe payment field is completely blank and my SAT scores, transcripts, and counselor forms are missing!!!!

I payed through the common app 2 days ago. My transcripts and counselor forms were sent a month ago! And my SAT scores were sent a week and a half ago with express shipping (2 days).

Could this just be because all my material hasn't been linked to my account yet? Will this affect my admission chances!??!

Thank you.

relax

They actually WANT to read your file and admit you , you know. If anything is missing, they will contact you. Imagine that.

As long as commonapp says you paid and you have a receipt you will be fine.

If the material is mailed in, they will need to match all that information and load it into your file since you just submitted your application.

It can probably take 10-15 days for all that to happen since they will be receiving about 25000 applications or more for RD. They are most probably on vacation and need their student helpers to match all the paper.

So take a deep breather and check on it now and then but don’t panic.

It takes time to process your materials.

Just calm down. Things get lost in the mail and stuff also. They understand; it’s not like they are evil monsters trying to reject you.

same problem here.
But dont panic

My son’s Penn Portal account showed incomplete application materials right up until the moment he was accepted ED to Huntsman on Dec. 9. Concerned emails to Admissions Office were unanswered. I suggest you be diligent about making sure your school has submitted required materials and that you keep your receipts from CommonApp and ACT/CollegeBoard. Penn will contact you or your counselor if they haven’t received an essential application document.

i’m panicking as well. my counselor sent some stuff in late, so whatever says “not satisfied”, im sure is on its way now. What i’m concerned about is the application fee. The status of it is completely blank, it doesn’t even say “not satisfied”, but it is one of my outstanding materials. I paid on common app with a credit card on the 31st of december. every other school i paid for said they received my app fee. why is it taking so long for penn to get mine?

I emailed them and received no answer.

^ They likely don’t have the means to update everything for everyone. If somehow your file is missing something essential (like the fee), you can be sure they will contact you. As I said before: “They actually WANT to read your file and admit you , you know.”
