I would like to start out by saying that this is my first post on College Confidential!

I was wondering if anyone has heard of or is applying to the University of Pennsylvania PEEP (Penn Early Exploration Program)?

To my understanding it is a fly-in program that allows minorities to visit campus for free. The program lasts for about two days (one in October and one in November) and allows students to talk to with professionals and alumni about college chances and life on campus.

The information for the program is here:
Would love to hear about some profiles of students who are applying!

Don’t worry about the profiles of other invitees. That’s not your concern. It’s an effort (from what I understand, not meant to be widely publicized) to attract a select group of students. Your listing its URL may not be doing YOU any favors.

@brown210 I was not accepted too and I also have visited. I guess it is what it is. I thought the email was more compassionate than a regular rejection letter. They even promised to send me a gift XD. Congrats to those who got into PEEP!

Don’t let a rejection from a fly-in program be a reason for you not to apply @dissealguem! If you really want to go to Penn then reflect that in your application and I’m sure there could be a different outcome!

Hi first post on this site, I got accepted to PEEP as well I got the email like 1 hr and 30 mins ago, Im exstatic hopefully its a harbinger of my future ivy prospects.

I was not accepted to PEEP, but congratulations to those who were! I really hope you guys enjoy Penn’s beautiful campus. As for those who weren’t, do not let this get in the way of your success or make you think that you do not have what it takes to become a member of the Penn (or any college’s) community.
