@MaybeHarvard2022 I don’t see the correlation. All respondents on that thread received a notification asking for FA documents. What about the people who did their FA correctly and ahead of time?
@MrElonMusk you’re telling me you don’t see a correlation between receiving a missing financial aid docs snail mail and being accepted? That was what I was talking about earlier, receiving a missing financial aid mail is an indicator of admission for Penn, especially so late in the game. Obviously if you did it correctly you wouldn’t receive the mail.
@MaybeHarvard2022 And what do I do? Sit here in the dark and wait? Maybe I should’ve intentionally not submitted FA documents…
@MaybeHarvard2022 thank you for sending that! I was checking last year’s RD thread and couldn’t find anything. Lol I’ve never wanted a missing document notification more!
Great insight @MaybeHarvard2022 . You are correct. I did get similar email from Princeton two weeks ago about a couple of missing docs as well. Penn all is complete
I called early in January and they told me that they do not use IDOC and would prefer I send my tax returns through the financial aid portal.
Penn decisions are March 28th @7pm…it’s there on the portal.
Yes I just saw it!
is anyone else’s checklist gone?
checklist is gone…
Yeah, checklist is gone - so is the link to add aditional information to your application.
checklist gone, and 28th 7pm EST decisions released!
Hmm does anyone know anybody who got in with financial aid but was not sent the FA email reminder before results came out?
@Hopeful2022 What?
@MrElonMusk sorry, i was half asleep typing. rephrased my question already
@Hopeful2022 if you complete your financial aid stuff you won’t receive the email. in that sense you can either get in or be rejected/waitlisted. however, the mail is for ppl who didn’t complete financial aid but will be admitted.
Penn just wanted IDOC right?
Just got an email from Penn Admissions:
7 days 3 hours and 48 minutes left.
“We have enjoyed getting to know you through this process.”
Makes the impending rejection feel so personal
So basically if you didn’t complete your financial aid yet and you never got an email, it means you are rejected?
