During my Freshman family deaths and with my major speech problems I got depressed and my greats dropped . I will explain this further in the supplement

Good chances. If you choose to mention the family deaths in your essays, be sure to make it clear how those events (positively) influenced your personal development.

Thanks! Anyone else ?

I wrote the last sentence of my post with little grammar, so I will rewrite it :

My freshman year of high school their were multiple deaths in my family , and on top of that I had low self esteem issues due to my lisp caused me to get depressed thus causing a drop in my grades . Since then, I’ve had a steep incline ( 4.0 junior year ), and I’m also hoping that my AP, SAT, SAT2, and ACT scores prove that freshman year was a bad year for me, but theirs no excuses so if I go to upenn all I would do is work to y maximum capabilities . This is going to sound really cheesy, but life knocks you down and how you take it defines who you are.

I’m going to add my problems during freshman year in my supplement and if I get an interview I would prefer to go to upenn and explain it their . My counselor isn’t good , and she wouldn’t understand ,also I hate sharing personal information with someone that I see on a daily basis. I don’t see you guys, and you don’t see me so it’s no big deal , and you rarely see the admissions people at upenn unless your trying to find them.
