upenn v. cornell

i got into both the upenn and cornell engineering schools.

which one should i pick?

i applied biomedical..might change my mind though.

That's tricky if you might change your mind. For biomedical, Penn is definitely much better. Especially if you want to go to med school. However, Cornell is much better for any other type of engineering. Think hard about what you might want? And consider the atmosphere, social life, etc.

go for upenn.....has the best biomedical engineering program in the nation.

at cornell, the biomedical degree doesn't exist as a major (although you can minor in it). This is because the college of engineering and the BEE department went out and asked major biomedical/biotech companies what the wanted in a prospective candidate. They said they did not want somebody with a biomedical engineering degree. Biological engineering (what is offered at cornell) provides a much broader basis from which to grow off. If they want biomedical degrees, they want you to go to grad school to get it.
just something to think about

That title goes to Johns Hopkins, but Penn is great.
