I've been lucky enough to get into both these schools...and I'm now faced with the dilemma of choosing between them.
I NEED A TIME TURNER! :O Oh whoops it was smashed by Harry and Co. when they bombed the Ministry :(

I got into Penn CAS and Berkeley CLS and I have no idea (or actually, I have too many ideas) about what I want to do with my life...yet.

Where would y'all go? :D

Congratulations!
Can you tell us more about what you want in a university?
What majors are you considering?
Would one be significantly more expensive for you than the other? If so, is that a factor?

It’s hard to answer which one is “better” in the abstract.

THANK YOUUU!

I’m considering architecture or a double major in cognitive sciences/neuroscience and math. Then again, I change my mind a lot so I may well end up choosing history or pharmacology or something

Expense isn’t an issue, so finances are really not part of the picture (thankfully!). I’m open to either climate type - I’ve never seen snow in my life, so Philly is awesome but then again, Cali weather is…well. It’s Cali. Enough said.

I like the fact that Penn is mid-sized. It’s not so small that I’d get sick of seeing the same faces every day and it’s not so large that it’s an empire in itself (unlike Berkeley, which is huuuge.) Also, Penn appears to be more encouraging of undergrad research which is awesome, and it also looks like it places a lot of importance on undergrad education. But I adore Berkeley’s atmosphere and its people, and I have friends there who can’t shut up about how amazing it is!
