<p>Shoot for the Political and Social Thought program - it’s a competitive app process, but it’s very challenging and a good number of folks (when I was there at least) tend to do international relations/policy/law type stuff ('cept me, I did domestic social policy).</p>
<p>UVA for sure. Their social sciences departments are top-notch and the PST program is a great way for you to design your own classes as well.</p>

<p>Out of those three just for your field, UVA definitely. I’m pursuing a government major right now, and the professors are amazing and there are so many classes from which to choose. Academics aside, UVA is the most well-rounded school…AND you’re instate, so it will probably be less expensive! Come to UVA, you’ll love it! We all do Now that spring has arrived, people are outside studying on the lawn, wearing flip flops, going to day parties, going to formals, and foxfields soon… you won’t find that or as good of a social science program at Cornell or UChicago</p>
