Comments: I am not a naturally smart person but I am proud to say I am a dedicated and very hard worker. Also I had a concern/question. I heard that your SAT II scores can save you as technically a "replacement" of your SAT individual scores (For an example is it true that since I got a 710 on my English Literature SAT II exam that they will look into that more unless I do better the second sitting for the SAT?)

Thank You For Your time and Any Feedback is Appreciated!

Seems pretty solid! I’m not too great at this chancing stuff myself, so I’m not the person to judge, but you seem very dedicated around your school community and you have a good standing in your class, as well as solid academics. Definitely work on those SATs!

I’ve never heard about the “replacement score” process, but that is interesting…

Being a URM should definitely help you because you’d bring diversity to the college community.

Definitely raise your GPA and SAT score. Your ACT is okay, but not outstanding, for these schools. And Columbia doesn’t have a business school for undergraduate students. If you have a competitive school, you’re ranked a little too low. And there is “replacement” for some schools, but I don’t think the schools, you plan on applying to, have that policy. You have a solid chance at UT since you’re in state. Mid-High reaches for the Ivy schools and the OOS schools (UNC, UC’s). You have pretty good ECs as well. Good luck!

And I thought Sri Lankans still count as Asians… Or does Asian only refer to Orientals?

^ superexcited: Yeah, Sri Lanka is in Asia. But saying you’re from China or India or Korea (overrepresented Asian) is very different from saying you’re from Sri Lanka or Myanmar or Mongolia (underrepresented Asian.)
