<p>i’ll add a few more, since that thread is long dead.</p>
<p>pros: jobs after college, social life, philly has the potential to be awesome (west philly especially), diversity of students and activities, mostly great profs</p>
<p>cons: weather sucks, social life before junior year=frats</p>
<p>not true at all…the weather here is awesome. you get all 4 seasons and it doesn’t even snow too much in the winter. god, some of us penn students clearly haven’t been to places with worse weather and need to appreciate multiple consecutive sunny days, especially when campus looks so beautiful under the philly sun. also, i’m a sophomore and i can get anywhere and everywhere with my fake ID. i was never limited to my frat’s parties</p>
<p>can you join a frat sophomore year?</p>
<p>@advertisinggal I believe you can. My host’s roommate and all his buds that can over to play games during my stay at preview days were sophomores and in a frat.</p>
