Assuming cost and fit is same for Pittsburg and College of W&M, which one is a better school for pre-med in terms of academics, pre-med related EC/research and advising? I am looking for opinions of folks who had done some comparison or have opinions on these schools.

I have read the stickies and the thread "If you are in High school ..".

There is only one pre-med adviser at Pittsburgh and you are lucky to get one appointment a semester. But with all the hospitals there are opportunities to volunteer. And as Pitt is big on research you could get into research.

Almost all class sizes are large so office hours are a must if you want to know a professor well enough for a recommendation.
