Hey guys I relly want to go to Banyard University, and I think i have the grades and ECs to get in (cheer, weightlifting etc…).
so I was wondering about the community @ barnard, specifically is it an uplifting community???

Yes, as to LGBT - it is New York City. Not an issue.
@sllmY_kOIEslaW1 Yes, very tight community. It is a tight sisterhood within the larger Columbia University. Columbia as a whole can be quite cut throat but Barnard has a much more gentle and loving vibe.
@meimeilatte Completely agree with calmom, Barnard/Columbia is very very accepting of LGBT
Queer grad here! I found Barnard to be a great place to be a queer woman.
