I was wondering what the workload was like for upper division polisci courses. Namely, how much reading is involved per week? And, structure of the classes themselves: how many papers, are the midterms/finals generally written or do they include objectives, etc?

Thanks

I think 1-2 papers, 1 midterm, 1 final. Exams are writing-intensive.

Most PoliSci majors I know don't even read the assigned material. Just study the lectures and you'll get at least A-.

A 4.0 is not hard to achieve then, if you are a transfer admit (no underdivision GE reqs) and are only taking upper division polisci classes?

It should be relatively easy to get a high GPA. Just go to all the lectures and study your notes. I'd say class attendance is important.
