Upper level CS courses abroad

Hey all! My school’s study abroad office is proving less than helpful and I’m hoping someone has experience or knowledge related to what I’m looking for.

  • Junior/senior level CS courses taught in English
  • As a departmental requirement of my CS program, they must explicitly list their country's equivalent of a 3rd or 4th semester data structures and algorithms class as a prerequisite

Cost doesn’t matter to me as my scholarship will cover it. I’d prefer a country where the semesters line up with the USA’s, but I’m not picky about location, as I’m keen to travel all over the world.

I’m having a lot of trouble searching for this as many study abroad databases are filled with CS offerings that are only introductory programming courses, or that don’t have the prerequisite structure my home university requires. Has anyone found or done a program similar to what I’m looking for?

That’s one of the ones I looked at - unfortunately, none of the courses have the prerequisite class that my school requires in order to accept transfer credit.

Who does your school have exchanges with?

Maybe try IES Canterbury (NZ)? My D is a math/cs major and is looking at various options as well.
