<p>Good for UPS! I liked the write up in CTCL. There are also advantages to being in a city.
Many people don’t know much about Tacoma, but it is a nice city that has a lot to offer. As discussed in another thread, UPS is located in a great neighborhood near downtown.</p>
<p>I would love to hear from a UPS student if they think the inclusion apt. CTCL schools, to me, mean small classes, personalized education, lots of contact with professors, tutorials, etc. Can anyone speak to how this plays out at UPS?</p>
<p>I’m a parent of a student. My son has experienced all of the above–small classes, engaged students, lots of contact with profs. I don’t think UPS has a formal tutorial system the way, say, Lawrence does, but I believe that students can do independent study type things, and many departments have a thesis requirement that is a substantial project. UPS has been a great place for my son, I don’t think he could have found a better fit.</p>
