I have had a 3.5 UW GPA through my first three years of HS (straight B first semester of Jr year because of illness before finals, but 2nd semester got 3 A’s and 1 B in AP Chemistry, and a straight B first semester of freshman year because I couldn’t check what I was missing since the tech guy put my username in wrong). My weighted GPA at school up to this point has been a 4.13 between 9-11 and 4.3 between 10-11 (this includes a C- in Spanish 3 one semester, the avg in there was pretty low). I have a 33 ACT with a 10 on the essay portion, and have various EC’s that I don’t/can’t list off the top of my head. Along with that, I have gotten my final results back from my senior year and have received all A’s (AP Government/Economics, APES, AP Calc ab, AP psychology and english 4, so 4.8 W, 4.0 UW). Will this help me a lot? Or is it too late for the first semester grades to even make a difference?
A list of my reach schools (i have already gotten accepted to Santa Clara and Chapman as safeties, but didn’t get into boston college)
USC
University of Michigan (Deferred EA)
UCLA
Cal Poly SLO (Idk if this really is a reach or not)
IK USC asks for mid year grades, so will my straight A semester help me in my application? (I am a legacy btw)
Another slight question, when a college asks me to report my grades, should I also include the grade I got in my sport? (Wrestling) Thanks!
