I’m considering a career in public policy, and perhaps urban planning. I’ve heard a graduate degree is immensely helpful with both of those, however I’ve also heard a bachelor’s in urban planning is mostly unnecessary if you’re going to get a graduate degree. It seems to me the best path would be to do my undergraduate work with public policy/ political science, and then do my graduate work in urban planning later on if I’m still interested in it. I’d just like to have verification that that’s a sound plan. Is this a good idea?
Sure, and you might want to take intro or higher level classes in econ and geography as well.
Thanks for the tip
