Good undergrad degree for Architecture/Urban Planning?

I am a sophomore at the University of South Florida. I am thinking about attending graduate school for Architecture or Urban Planning. What would be a good undergraduate degree for either of these?

I am currently majoring with B.S. in Economics. My reasoning is that I feel like Economics offers the best bang for my buck, and leaves me with a practical degree applicable to many fields, god forbid I change my mind in the future. I also believe Economics gives me an edge in the workplace, no matter which path I choose. Not to mention my work offers tuition reimbursement for business degrees, which really helps the pocketbook. Does this justify a degree in Economics?

More importantly, is it an appropriate choice as a precursor to Architecture and/or Urban Planning? What would be a better choice in your opinion? Would a degree in something such as Geography or Environmental Science be better? For a better reference, here is a list of the majors my school offers:

Thank you so much!

This goes for your Geography part of the question-

I know some people who went for Geography (GIS side) and now work for urban planning and development groups. With a B.S. in Geo/GIS you can get a Masters in urban planning. Most GIS guys I know make ~$60k the top with just a B.S. makes ~$94 the top with a M.S. makes ~$180
