I have errors in my essays and I already sent them!

common app essay: I wrote "recall" instead of "recalled" (Tense error)
supplement essay: I wrote I learned ways to adapt to and endure
Short Answer: I misspelled "Ultimately" and put "Untimately"

OMG OMG I NEED HELP!!!!

Should I send corrected copies or should I just leave them as they are!!?

My friend's d did this two years ago on her (successful) application to Stanford. She handled it by calling admissions and (politely) asking them to find her application (she had filed paper only) and to please take a pen and make the corrections.

If you were my d, I'd encourage you to compose a humble email to admissions and ask how to proceed. If more than one college is involved due to common app submission, try contacting common app by email for a remedy. Try to restrain your OMG's. Take a deep breath. It will be OK.

College admission officer: hmm, this essay is excellent! Its style is flawless and it describes just the sort of student we need. Oh wait, I see a typo here. Automatic reject! Next.

Seriously. If your essay fails it won't be because of misspelling/wrong tense in three instances.
