I’m an applicant to BC but I just found out that my guidance didn’t send in my transcript to BC yet! I’m freaking out. If they send them in postmarked Jan 3rd - and I send in my CommonApp, supplement, and SAT scores in by tonight, would they be willing to look over my application? Please help! Thank you!

Don’t worry, I think as long as your application, common app supplement and app fee are in by the due date, you will be fine. The schools all allow extra time for the test scores and school paperwork.

Good luck!

lolsickles-A quick look at some of your previous CC postings about “late” submissions to college AdCom’s is perplexing. What you’re saying is that you’re looking for colleges to make an exception for you just because you didn’t place enough priority on your applications/payments to follow them through? Regardless of what your stats are…that speaks volumes!

I’m pretty sure she’s not looking for an exception, so you need to back off. Look, very often there’s a mistake somewhere along the way and a transcript isn’t sent on time. Clearly you’re not applying to college, so you dont know how challenging it can be to keep track of every little detail. Plus, your guidance office is not going to help you if you’re down their throats all the time. Lolsickles is just trying to get some information, so you don’t need to get a snobby attitude. If one less person’s application isn’t complete, it wont really help your child get in. so get off CC and be a normal parent, not a paranoid psycho mom.

Did you read all of lolsicles’ earlier CC postings?
After reading through them, it’s difficult to argue against what NervousMAmom is stating.
