BU has tons of opportunity in the Boston area. Both are heavily recruited by the Big 4. Villanova does better for Wall Street banking jobs.
BU is very urban - buildings are in the city, it’s not a traditional campus.
Villanova is Catholic, so check you would enjoy the core. It’s less diverse then BU. There’s a beautiful traditional campus and thy live basketball.
Philadelphia and Boston are two awesome US cities.
I am in a similar situation. I want to be in the Philadelphia area and I’m trying to decide between Villanova and Temple for business. I think Temple and BU are somewhat similar so I am interested in these replies.
@“Aldo Leopold”
I would personally put BU way above Temple for what it’s worth. In your case, I’d choose Villanova.
I’d put Villanova/BU at a similar level so I’d recommend focusing on fit over academics between them. I personally like Boston a lot more than Philly, so my personal choice would be BU, but it’s about what you prefer. Have you visited both schools?
BU is more diverse and probably better known around the world
Depends on your goals. If it’s Big 4, I would pick the cheaper option. U.S. News also have Temple and Villanova undergrad business programs tied at #45, so academically, they are similar.
