Earlier in the summer, I was not happy with my ACT score so I planned on taking both the Sept. 15 ACT and Oct. 6 SAT. Well after practicing for some months, I really believe (my scores indicate) that I can get about a 31-33. If that's the case, then I really don't need to take the SAT, but would like the option to take a couple subject tests on Oct. 6. Since ACT scores come out online around Sept. 25, I can see that score before I take the SAT.

My question is: Can I switch that Oct. 6 SAT to an Oct. 6 SAT Subject Tests day; I know I'll have to pay $21 to make the change, but is it possible to make this change?

Ok, I was able to switch from SAT reasoning to SAT Subject Tests.

The 2 Subject Tests I'm taking are:

U.S. History
Math Level II

Questions:
1. How long (hrs/week) do I need to study for each test?
2. I've taken AP US and took many past m/c tests and earned high scores (definite 5's); also on the AP test this past year I had no problem on the m/c part. I have the PR AP book from last year, so will that be sufficient for studying? (I am familiar with AMSCO as our school gave us that book for the year during the APUSH)
3. If it comes right down to it for Math II, for 1 month, which option is the best: a. get Barron's , b. get PR , c. get both and mix and match?

Thanks for all the help, I'm so relieved that I can take the subject tests now in time for ED !
