Urgent help with calculating major gpa

I am planning to transfer to UCI as an electrical engineering major for the upcoming Fall but I need some help with calculating my major gpa. UCI’s school of engineering requires a 3.0 gpa for required courses which I assumed are the required courses listed on assist.org but when I contacted UCI about my major gpa, they calculated it without 4 courses listed on the website (MATH 1D, MATH 2A, MATH 2B and CHEM1A).

I have no idea why they wouldn’t count the 4 classes towards my major prep gpa but this is what I was told through the message center. Do you guys think I should try contacting another UCI rep about it or is this actually the correct way to calculate the gpa? I am worried because I will have to do well in my last physics course if the listed 4 classes do not count towards my gpa.

assist.org courses (http://web2.assist.org/web-assist/report.do?agreement=aa&reportPath=REPORT_2&reportScript=Rep2.pl&event=19&dir=1&sia=DAC&ria=UCI&ia=DAC&oia=UCI&aay=16-17&ay=16-17&dora=ELECT.ENGR)

Chem 1a isn’t listed as a major req. I don’t know why the math courses aren’t included. But if you’re at 3.0 without them, it doesn’t really matter, right?
